Job Summary:

Primary responsibilities include the effective counsel on all tasks and activities necessary to affect a successful relocation, for transferees. The counselor may also be asked to provide some support for the day-to-day corporate client contact for resolution of problems or to communicate pertinent information.

Supervisory Expectations:

The position does not have any regular responsibility for overseeing or supervising the work of other team members.

Independence of Action:

Supervisor/manager monitors work progress; incumbent follows precedents and procedures and may set priorities and organizes work within general guidelines established by supervisor/manager.

  • The work environment is the typical office environment. The employee must complete their work satisfactorily in an environment where there are significant distractions, including staff, clients, and vendors walking through and conversing, telephones ringing, conversations carrying over, loud noises, and interruptions to answer questions from others.

  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and should do so soundly and safely. This job’s specific vision abilities include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Job Duties:
  • Manage a caseload of transferring employees (all move types) and serve as the single point of contact for the transferee and/or family for both domestic and international relocations.
  • Exhibits thorough understanding and utilizes relocation experience in counseling the client’s corporate relocation policy including expense administration, numerous relocation service offerings, and benefits management consulting if appropriate.
  • Follows-up on all outstanding relocation related services and documents with appropriate internal and external parties.
  • Supports data integrity goals by entering key relocation related information relating to transferee, service provider network, client, etc., into system.
  • Demonstrates a willingness to improve job-related skills, responding to direction and constructive feedback in a positive and professional manner.
  • Attends and actively participates in all team and/or other meetings and training sessions as deemed appropriate.
  • Develops and maintains a positive and professional working relationship with all members of the team, customers, clients, and service partners.
  • Accepts additional job assignments and participates in project work as requested.
Requirements and Experience Guidelines:
  • Bachelors Degree in business or applicable industry experience.
  • U.S. domestic home sale and full logistical international experience at a Relocation Management Company is required.
  • Experience in customer relationship management.
  • Advanced communication (written, verbal and presentation) skills, to deliver complex information effectively.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills; ability to manage complex situations with multiple layers and resolve to solution by anticipating needs now and into the future.
  • Intermediate awareness of your own tasks, and how it impacts the team and deliverables.
  • Advanced awareness of workflow and project tradeoffs to make decisions based on needs now and into the future.
  • Proficient understanding of ERP systems.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and teams.
  • Possesses a friendly and empathetic demeanor.
  • Proven track record of delighting customers and exceeding their expectations.

Full Time
Pay:
$70,000 – $75,000
